Garlic Herb Boursin at Home

Yield: 12 ounces

Ingredients

-1/2 tablespoon of dill

-1/2 tsp majoram

½ tsp basil

½ tsp chives, dried

salt and pepper to taste

¼ tsp oregano

2 springs og thyme leaves

½ tablespoon parsley

1 clove garlic

½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 stick unsalted butter, room temp

1 package of cream cheese, softened



Directions:

  1. Add all spices and herbs to a food processor or spice grinder to make them as fine as possible.

  2. To the same food processor, add garlic and parmesan cheese and grind again.

  3. In a medium-sized bowl, combine butter and cream cheese until it is mixed well (do not mix with an electric whisk; you don’t want it to be whipped).

  4. Once butter and cream cheese are mixed, add herbs, garlic mixture, and combine.

  5. Place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to harden before enjoying.
