ChimiChurri Sauce
This bright, vibrant ChimiChurri slaps. I make it with fresh chili peppers, parsley,
oregano & cilantro that come together for the ultimate flavor bomb. Once you try
this version, you’ll never go back.
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Number of Servings: 4
Ingredients:
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 small shallot, minced
1 cup chopped fresh parsley, packed
1/2 cup fresh chopped cilantro, packed
2 sprigs of fresh oregano, chopped
1 teaspoon red chili pepper, diced small
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
Directions:
1. Chop all herbs and garlic
2. Place herbs and garlic into a medium-sized bowl.
3. Dice your red chili pepper or add 1/2-1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the
same bowl
before adding olive oil, red wine vinegar, chili pepper, lemon juice, zest, salt, and
pepper.
3. Top your favorite steak, vegetarian, or seafood dish.
Note: IF you’re making this ahead of time, keep the herbs and the liquid separate
until serving. This will keep the herbs from wilting.
