Mango Habanero Hot Sauce
If you like hot sauce that brings both heat and real flavor, this mango habanero sauce is the one to make. It’s easy and takes less than 20 minutes to whip up.
Ripe mango gives it a natural sweetness and body, while fresh habaneros bring a bright, fiery kick that builds without overpowering everything else. Garlic, lime, and apple cider vinegar round it out with just enough acidity and depth to keep it balanced. After a quick simmer and strain, you’ve got a smooth, vibrant sauce that’s perfect on tacos, grilled or fried chicken, seafood, or anything that could use a little sweet heat.

Ingredients:
- Flesh from two ripe mangos
- 6 cloves garlic
- 5 habanero chilis
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 1/2 white onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Juice from 1 lime
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons sugar or honey
- 1/4 cup filtered water
Directions:
Remove the green stems from the chilies and cut them in half (remove seeds if you want a milder heat level).
Add the habanero peppers to your food processor along with the mango, garlic, carrots, onion, lime, salt, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and water. Blend until smooth.
Pour the mixture into a saucepan and cook on medium-low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring frequently.
Press the sauce through a sieve using a silicone spatula and allow it to cool completely. Store in a squeeze bottle or jar in the refrigerator.
Add this sauce to chicken, tacos, nachos, or anything that needs a kick of flavor!
